Here at Oaklore we are passionate in our craft, but it is nature that shapes and lends the inspiration for our pieces. Working largely with fallen branches, roots and raw material discovered in our backyard wilderness, as well as wood remnants and reclaimed lumber, we allow the natural shape of the found wood to provide the motivation and form.

Whether it is a petrified pecan stump reborn as an elegant floor lamp, or an unusual piece of exotic remnant lumber turned into a spectacular side table, our passion with woodworking highlights the original beauty of the wood, rather than overwhelming it with ornamentation.

Additionally, we incorporate other raw elements - leather, raw steel, natural stone - into our pieces to contrast with the warmth of natural wood. Lamps, tables, bookcases and a variety of furniture are all the recipients of the craft and skill of our small band of woodworking artists.
