Louisville Historical League Visits Clark Regional Airport for Authors' Presentation on Southern Indiana Aviation History

The Louisville Historical League journeyed to Clark Regional Airport for their March 16, 2008, meeting to hear a program on Southern Indiana aviation presented by the authors. The authors offer special thanks to the League for inviting them to give this program and to Hap's Aerial Enterprises for providing their large meeting room as the meeting place. The authors participated in their second major book signing at Destinations Booksellers in New Albany. The December 8, 2007, event brought the authors into close contact with those attending as store owner Randy Smith dispensed with the traditional signing table in favor of a book discussion group format. Authors Join "Hap" to Sign Books at November 18 Book Premiere at Clark Regional Airport

Authors Garry J. Nokes (left) and Charles W. Arrington (center) joined aviation legend and book subject William "Hap" Happel (right) as they premiered Wings Over the Falls at a special event held on November 18, 2007, at Clark Regional Airport. Over one hundred people attended the event, keeping the authors and Hap busy signing books from 2 to 5 p.m. Hap's Aerial Enterprises hosted the event and provided free refreshments to all those who attended. Visitors also enjoyed a looping slideshow featuring many of the photos featured in the book as well as a static display of aviation memorabilia.
